Primitive Stats is a non-commercial hobby project: NHL statistics and analytics, published for information.

Every game, player and team figure comes from the NHL's own public sources: the NHL's web and statistics APIs (play-by-play, boxscores, shift charts, rosters, player bios, standings and schedules) and the official game reports, such as the time-on-ice reports.

This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHL or its teams. NHL, the NHL Shield, team names and logos are trademarks of the NHL and its teams.

Expected goals (xG), the adjusted player rating (RAPM) and the figures built on them are statistical estimates made by models, not official statistics. They are provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

What personal data the site handles is in its privacy notice.
